A reporter in Austin said that the guy’s wife and 12yr old daughter were rescued from the housefire by a neighbor.

United Airlines Flight Diverted after a threatening letter found onboard flight number 741 out of Denver headed to San Francisco this morning. It is described as a bomb threat per CNN.

Not likely. If so, why burn your own house. I think the guy was getting his house foreclosed on and had a huge tax bill the IRS wouldn’t budge on.
