from the extent of the fire, it looks like the pilot may have had some kind of accelerant on the plane. A small plane like that should not cause a fire that extensive, imho. It looks like the fire spread 100’s of feet horizontally to me, which seems unusual.

Yes, it looks like the whole interior is ablaze. A "small plane" like a Cessna 182 wouldn't do that. It must've been a larger aircraft, maybe something like a Gulfstream or Learjet.

They are saying it was a Piper Cherokee? That does not make sense to me at all. Too much fire for a small plane like that

Do either of you remember a similar incident right after 9/11 when a young man flew a small plane into a high rise in Florida? I remember there was no smoke at all.
