I don't know what the obsession with Sarah Palin is. She's a nice lady, maybe a good teacher, local school board member or housewife. C'mon guys, get real here. Sarah Palin gives conservatives a bad name, and she give the libtards in the media ammunition. I say throw her overboard. Enough with this nonsense already. We need to rally behind a guy who can tear Obama apart. We need someone like Sen Demint, even Mitt Romney, Gen Petraeus, or even Ron Paul for pete's sake. I feel like hiding in a corner everytime I hear Palin speak. She doesn't represent me!

You know Savage is a big time loon when he prefers Romneycare and Paul over Palin!

I’d vote for her, and I trust her, and I like her, and her thoughts are my thoughts, but Savage is right....

That certainly is a curious list of alternatives that he proposes. Good grief.

I remember there were quite a few FReepers who insisted that Obama wasn’t electable.

I would vote for Sarah as well...
What I think is happening, is so many people are fed-up with Obama and his ilk they want someone who is going to literally *Kick the Tar* out of them...Yes for that Sarah is to nice....
Maybe Todd can...:)

I agree, Savage is right. She’s not electable. I’ve always contended that Sarah would better serve the party replacing Michael Steele. She’s proven she can raise funds.

I'm very impressed with Scott Brown....I'd vote for Romney too but he is really just another big spending govt man....we wouldn't get much change..
frankly, there are lots of good guys coming up the ranks...we need to take over the Senate and the House and more Governorships or at least get closer....that should be our main priority now..not who's going run for prez.

The GOP front runner is going to take heat for the next 2 years, and could shield other candidates from that heat. From 2006 to 2008, Hillary took a lot of the blows and allowed Obama to get through Super Tuesday relatively unscathed.
If Dr. Savage believes as he does, he should welcome Palin taking all the heat. You don't see the libs with the long knives going after Petraeus or Romney or DeMint, or even Ron Paul for gosh sake.

Agreed.. I really hope she doesn’t run. She is Obama’s only chance to get re-elected in 2012.

I hate to say it, but Savage is right. The MSM has so damaged her that I don’t believe she can be salvaged with the moderate crowd...aka mushy middle.

The political class is delusional if they think Palin isn’t electable. Telling each other such things may make them feel better, but it won’t change the political tsunami headed their way over the next few years...

Savage is the same thing to the conservatives as Chris Mathews is to the liberals.
A loud mouth embarrassment.
