JMO, Ms. Medina seems like a "DUmmie" candidate.
To: DallasBiff
Put a fork in it, her chances of winning are now Zero.
To: DallasBiff
But, hey, Ron Paul is probably very proud of her.
That's got to be some consolation prize...right? ;-)

I heard this. Beck gave her every opportunity to back away from this. She didn’t.

Uh, she did disavow it. Emphatically in her press release.

After she saw the damage.
Did you hear the interview? She destroyed herself.

IIRC, Debra Medina was a campaign official for nutzie Ron Paul's 2008 run for potus.
That alone should disqualify her for any elected position.

No, she didn’t disavow it. We have the statements from her appearance on Glenn. If she weren’t with the nuts, she’d have done it then. She’s done.
To: perfect_rovian_storm
Yes. Did she say she believed the truthers? As a matter of fact she didn’t.

She might as well have announced that she could not remember the name of “that mission in San Antonio”, she preferred the Dixie Chicks over George Strait and she liked salsa from New York City.

I heard her. She did everything but answer the question. Talking about not giving her advisers psych tests was absurd.

Aw, come on. That’s the same crap that all truthers say. I’ve outed a number of them in my local 9/12 group as well. They’re all the same.

I understand you like long shots. Still thinking Hunter can win. But to even try and stand by a woman who would align with with those whack jobs...no.
We won’t “see” anything. I know she’s done. You’ll have to learn the hard way.
To: perfect_rovian_storm
Well, you’ll have to find me a quote from her before today saying she believes the truthers. If you do that, she’s toast. If not, it was one bad interview followed by the clarification of what she “really” believes.
Kinda like Palin and the birthers.

Medina says she is Republican ?? She's a Libertarian.
Like her hero Ron Paul and some others, they run on the Republican ticket because they know they don't stand a chance on the Libertarian ticket.

I admire your tenacity, but her candidacy was effectively destroyed today by her own hands. This has already gone viral and has already destroyed any possible chance of her winning.
FWIW, I thought she was going to win prior to this interview. It was a devastating blow.
