You completely misunderstand Reagan’s position on abortion

Just throw away the Keyes, a blowhard who couldn’t get elected to anything if he tried. Why does anyone pay any attention to this guy?

You have that right. No only does he come off as a pompus ass who seems to speak for his own egrandizement but he leverages these kind of silly attacks when someone disagrees with him on minutia. We need to stop this insanity. I will not support a candidate that does not believe in restricting Abortion but once they meet that test I’m not going to argue over minutia that isn’t even on the table yet. Once we get rid of Roe V Wade we can start the next phase for protecting the unborn. We need to win the Presidency and get two more conservative Judges seated and we need individuals like Paul who can serve the cause and confirm those judges.

Picking to argue about whether overturning RvW (which is terrible law and should be shitcanned for myriad reasons) is sufficiently pro-life is not a good use of time, IMO.

And I’m pretty sure Palin has previously stated she would support an Amendment to the constitution protecting life.

Rand and Ron Paul's abortion positions.

I posted the applicable links to both of their websites.

Stop lying about them. Neither are pro-choice. Period.

Roe v. Wade must be overturned. And anyone who believes it should be left to the States is a hypocrite.

Overturning Roe v. Wade would instantaneously defer the matter to the States. It is the duty of the States to enforce laws against murder within their jurisdiction. I believe that Rand Paul and Sarah Palin both support a Constitutional Amendment that would define life and personhood which could then be used to compel States to protect the unborn.

No I don't. It's still the heart of the GOP's platform, even if the whole party ignores it.

Even Blackmun admitted IN THE ROE DECISION that if the fetus is a person they are "of course" protected by the Fourteenth Amendment.

Politicians like Palin and the Paul's admit they're a person and then say that the states don't have to provide for the equal protection of the laws.

They don't even feel the need for Blackmun's fig leaf of dehumanizing the child. If the states want to allow the killing of some classes of persons, they're fine with that.

Like Keyes or not but he will never have to make excuses when he stands before God as to why he compromised, because he doesn’t, not for anyone.

According to both Ron and Rand's websites, both are in favor of a Human Life Amendment and a Life at Conception Act. Ron is even in favor of making it a murder charge to abort a viable fetus unless the mother's life is literally in jeopardy.

Maybe Allen and this mouthpiece EV would prefer to charge the mother with murder even if she miscarries. I guess that would be the only way to be even more "pro-life" in their view.

Bill Johnson doesn’t even register on the radar.

But, then again, Keyes was never about actually WINNING elections.

If Keyes helps him get as many votes as he did in the 2008 President race then no one should even get the least bit concerned.

All keyes and his group are concerned with is one thing and that is keeping a cash flow process churning.

Reagan was not as obsessive about anti-abortion legislation as he often seemed. Early in his California governorship he had signed a permissive abortion bill that has resulted in more than a million abortions. Afterward, he inaccurately blamed this outcome on doctors, saying that they had deliberately misinterpreted the law. When Reagan ran for president, he won backing from pro-life forces by advocating a constitutional amendment that would have prohibited all abortions except when necessary to save the life of the mother. Reagan’s stand was partly a product of political calculation, as was his tactic after he was elected of addressing the annual pro-life rally held in Washington by telephone so that he would not be seen with the leaders of the movement on the evening news. While I do not doubt Reagan’s sincerity in advocating an anti-abortion amendment, he invested few political resources toward obtaining this goal.

Paul is not pro-choice.
Of course she should support people in the primary. Part of the reason conservatives don't make it out of the primary is because of this attitude of not endorsing in the primary. We need conservatives to win primary races.

Read what Rand actually said. You are blatantly lying about his position.

I would support legislation, a Sanctity of Life Amendment, establishing the principle that life begins at conception. This legislation would define life at conception in law, as a scientific statement.

Is that clear enough for you?

All the pro-Palin, pro-Paul folks have in their arsenal are Alinskyite personal attacks. They certainly don’t have the facts.

Why do you say he’s pro-choice? Where does he say that? His site says he’s “100% pro-life”.
