...they have to play all kinds of games with those numbers, charging inordinate amounts in order to get what they need via expected discounts.
Sounds like more reason to change such a screwed up system.
From what you describe, if the insurance company wasn’t part of the picture, I could have got screwed big time and probably would have...just like so many other people have had to mortgage houses to pay hospitals.
Read your post a few times. Man....what a mess. Imagine if you took your car to the mechanic and had this kind of ‘accounting episode’.
I figured he was a troll. Maybe he will move to Canada so they can tell him his health care is free but he can’t get what he needs until 2013. Get in line, jerk! I had an MRI today that I scheduled on Wed and I will get the results from it tomorrow and it wasn’t an emergency. Let’s see anyone in Canada or Europe or Cuba do that.
One post you say he "feels your pain"
Another you deny that Obama and his minions want total control..and will run it like they run all the other government programs. When Obama himself has said multiple times....he envisions single payer.
Then in another post you won't answer why you are even here.
Then in this one you say your done.
But now I see you back.
Typical scatter brained...I want everything given to me by the Government...Obama voter trolling FR.
Try your presentation better...like your hero Obama...LOL
It’s gonna get a LOT worse when the government takes it over.
Consider that they’re going to levy $100,000,000,000 in taxes annually to run it - and you’re STILL going to paying the same (or worse) out-of-pocket premiums, and there will STILL be the same number of uninsured people.
Want to simplify the system? End the ban on inter-state health insurance plans, make all insurance premiums tax-deductible, reform tort laws, and - most directly to your issue - force the government to pay the bill they’re given instead of saying “f*** you, here’s 10%”.
You’re a strange bird...
....end the ban on inter-state health insurance plans, make all insurance premiums tax-deductible, reform tort laws....
I like the way all those sound and sounds like a lot of work.
I remember tort law reform back in the Clinton-Gore days. Never seemed to be more than talk though...I mean it never seemd to go anywhere...just kind of died. Wonder what happened there?
