“you walk into the White House, in the West Wing, and there are picture all over, I mean everywhere! Of President Obama!”
Sounds like Chairman Mao-itis. Maybe the economy can be jump-started by sending teams of sculptors to major cities to erect five-story statues of Barry.
One thing that is common about dictatorships is there seems to be hugh portraits of “Dear Leaders” on every street corner(Hussein, Mao, Chavez, Castro, etc.). I’ve been in fear of it happening here in the US with Obama. It sounds like the White House has already gone that route.

Any prayer rugs?
Did he see this one of Obama taking Bo, the First Dog, for a swim?
I have been to the West Wing when GWB was president and there is a long, wide corridor that’s lined on both walls with photos of the president which are updated every month. Ed Shultz’s description seems to indicate that he was ushered into more private quarters where he witnessed the ‘almost shrine’ unless he was talking about the rather large sitting room that’s at the end of the corridor. Heck, he might be talking about several of the rooms in the West Wing!!!!
Divine rights of kings. I think some people are just predisposed to living in a feudalistic system where kings rule.
*******
I thought that shrines were only for dead people. My mistake, I think. Is Obama dead?
The pigeons are waiting....
I took a tour of the WH during the Clinton administration (back when they allowed common folk to just walk up to the kiosk and purchase a ticket). I almost gagged, upon entering the visitor’s entrance, to be greeted by life sized photo cut outs of Bill, Hillary, & Chelsea. I don’t remember if Socks was included.
Ed Schultz = Illustrating Sycophantic Behavior towards Obama like no one else could ever do.
