Glenn Beck is telling it like it is, and we better listen to the man. I have been around for a long time and have seen some of this “progressive” action. The big problem is that they don't teach real American history in schools today. And if you base your political conclusions on what you read/hear from the MSM, “the change that you can believe in” is going to come as a big surprise. We are being sold down the river.

Liberals want to hide their history. The use the term "Progressive" to avoid using the term "Liberal". However, Progressives are hard left, having evolved from the big-government, trust-busting populist Teddy Roosevelt, to Socialism, to Communism.

When the 1924 Progressive Party ran a candidate in 1924, the Socialist Party of America decided not to run a candidate and instead endorsed the Progressive Party candidate.

When the 1948 Progressive Party ran a candidate in 1948 and 1952, the Communist Party of the USA decided not to run candidates and instead endorsed the Progressive Party candidates.

The Congressional Progressive Caucus grew out of the branch of the Socialist Party of America which chose to work within the Democrat Party. At best these are Social Democrats on the European model, but the Progressive Caucus includes the hard-core Socialist Bernie Sanders who remained outside the Democrat Party rather than working within it, and many others who hold the same beliefs but run as Democrats.

If you are a Democrat and not a Blue Dog, you are pretty much a Socialist.
