NEW DELHI -- Brazil, China, India and South Africa called Sunday for developed countries to quickly begin handing over the $10 billion pledged in Copenhagen to poor countries to help them deal with the effects of climate change.
The first funds should go to the least developed countries, including small island states and African countries, said Xie Zhenhua, China's top climate change negotiator after a meeting of the representatives of the four nations in New Delhi.

Good job, China! You’re calling Al Gore’s bluff. Al Gore’s plan is that the money comes from China to Al Gore when he sells the permits. Of course, in the twisted minds of liberals, Al Gore will be helping poor countries in this scheme. The caveat in this whole issue is that the liberals will be willing to give money right now with an attached condition that the money be used to bail out Al Gore by buying his junk carbon permits.

How come every time Africa is mentioned, passing out money is the next line?
Africa is a nation of great potential, we saw that potential when South Africa was booming under white rule.
What happened to the boom, as if we all dont know?
Africa has great natural resources and is one of the oldest continents to be inhabited and yet they havent reached any of their potential under the leaders they now have. Every time they appear to be moving forward they move back by attacking and destroying what others worked for to pass it out to those who will not or don’t bother to work.
We send them CARE packages and the rulers distribute it to their Army to keep the citizens away from it We send them money their leadership steals it and passes it out to friends. I wouldnt send them a penny.

We visited China a couple years ago. Interesting, albeit polluted country. The dictatorship there should go pound sand. If they don’t, we won’t pay back out “debt” to them. What can they do?

I think they are right! However, anyone who applied for a loan prior to 1999 knows that you basically have to add up your assets and liabilities, soooo the USA has about 120Trillion in liabilities making us one of the “poorest” countries in the world. When can we expect to receive our first check? Does China want my PO Box?
