Orphaned children from Haiti will be allowed to enter the U.S. temporarily on a case-by-case basis to ensure they received proper care, the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of State announced Monday.
"We are committed to doing everything we can to help reunite families in Haiti during this very difficult time," DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano said in a statement. "While we remain focused on family reunification in Haiti, authorizing the use of humanitarian parole for orphans who are

I saw the report on Fox News. When the reporter said “all we need is one word from the State Department or DHS (headed by whom? we must ask) I all but threw the remote at the TV.
These czars are all tenderfeet — dumb as the day is long and they take their cues from the TOTUS-reader: delay, defer, hesitate and HOPE that the problem will solve itself.
Oh Great!
Now, we’re not only occupying the country, we’re stealing all their babies to be ground up for a rare delicacy. /s
Earlier today, Rush Limbaugh mentioned this insightful analysis of Haiti and why there really is very little hope for things to improve.

Keep them in Haiti. Billions in aid is not working.
In FL I see all the endless benefits Haitians get while working class Americans get nothing.
Maybe Jeb Bush can insure we have free electiosn here.
I hope they end up being as productive as the Haitian refugees I encountered while our ship was in Guantanamo for a month.
I took my hat off to those folks. They did more work for us during that month than I saw in home port of Little Creek, Va for 3 years. The quality of work was excellent as well.
Every kid will be an orphan and then eventually there parents will be found and reunited back in the USA aka Florida for endless benefits for the whole clan.
The American public and people here still have not figured out all the ways Obama, the Democrats and liberal media are screwing you. This one is gonna take the cake. Remember this post election night when Obama wins and carries Florida plus the other swing states thanks to CAIR/ACORN.
Why here? The Dominican Republic is on the same Island!!. Send them over there. Here is an idea. There are 198 countries in the crappy UN. WE take 1/198th!! Do the same for money. This is not my burden. STOP THIS MADNESS!!!
I wish I was a little younger and a little richer - we would adopt some of those kids.
I think you are right. It might solve the Hatian problem here as well.
I’m still young enough to take a couple in and so would, but we just don’t have the money. Makes me sad cause these children need help, but I think the Dominican Republic should temporary take them in, not the US.
Kidding right? with 13 trillion in debt we hardly need 10 million ppl on welfare and section 8
Sent folks (who want to) to Haiti to work in the orpahirum. But for Gosh’s sake, don’t bring them here!!!!!
OTOH, maybe these folks forget we are flat busted, broke, out of dough, in debt up to our collective Grand-childrens eyeballs.....
Latest news. Ed Rendell is on his way to pick up the orphans with a $500 K donation to Haiti.
No comment. The country has been extorting dollars from families willing to adopt the orphans, delaying delaying delaying and extorting more and more from the families.
Now this.
I really don’t know how to feel about this.
That would be Fast Eddie Rendell????
How come they need more money?????????????? PLEASE 100 million dollars is not enough?????????
That would be $500k from his OWN bank acct. I am sure!!!!!
There is a smal matter of 3000 felons running loose around PAP, looting , pillaging and burning ( they burned all their criminal recrds at DOJ) having escaped from prison lead by the murderer “Blade.”
Obama would love to employ those thugs in his back room boy set up for dirty ops.
But then Haiti is an international welfare state at present. I suppose we could afford to take on the whole burden, right?
