“The only grassroots that can accomplish this is grounded in (2 Cor. 10:3-5)”For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” and the Great Commission, “go and make disciples...!”

Blue-duncan -

I aksed these questions of P-Marlowe, and since you cloak your handwaving in Christian rhetoric, I will ask you some of them also:

12) NEW - When a robber/rapist shows up to your house, do you pray and then evangelize, or do you call 911? The rapist/robber is in America, and it is called Islam.
13) NEW - Even Paul invoked his rights as a Roman citizen in Acts 22:25 to avoid a beating, so why are you defending Islam by saying we should not use our rights as citizens to avoid future harm?
18) NEW - 2 Corinthians 6:5 Paul speaks of “watchings”. He was watching for people coming to hurt him. His prayers were not enough?
19) NEW - Have you read Gary Demar’s “Myths Lies & Half-Truths” http://www.amazon.com/Myths-Lies-Half-Truths-Misreading-Neutralizes/dp/0915815451/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1263155003&sr=8-2. The subtitle is, “How Misreading the Bible Neutralizes Christians”. Is it possible you have something to learn from it?

He invoked his rights as a Roman citizen when Roman authorities were abusing the law. He expected the Roman authorities to protect him just as we have the right to call upon our government to protect us.

However, if we think we are protecting ourselves by denying 1st Amendment rights to citizens then at another time our 1st Amendment right can be denied.

18) NEW - 2 Corinthians 6:5 Paul speaks of “watchings”. He was watching for people coming to hurt him. His prayers were not enough?

I don’t know where you get “He was watching for people coming to hurt him” from this verse. Paul voluntarily submitted to synagogue beatings for the opportunity to witness in the synagogues. Had he refused the punishment, which was his right, he would have forfeited the right to enter synagogues and speak. From his autobiographical references in Corinthians he was vulnerable many times to the elements, shipwrecks and hostile people. Anyone would lose sleep over that.

“12) NEW - When a robber/rapist shows up to your house, do you pray and then evangelize, or do you call 911? The rapist/robber is in America, and it is called Islam.”

That’s an absurd question. Of course you avail yourself of the protection of the government and if it can be proven that there is a conspiracy to break the law, there are remedies. However, a whole community is not penalized for the actions of a few.

“19) NEW - Have you read Gary Demar’s “Myths Lies & Half-Truths”

I have as much faith in the thinking of Gary DeMar as I do in Hal Lindsey or Tim LeHaye.

I’ll stand by my original statement:

“The only grassroots that can accomplish this is grounded in (2 Cor. 10:3-5)”For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” and the Great Commission, “go and make disciples...!”
