That's the problem - it seems that LDS philosophy is so rife with the "Your balance sheet is God's scorecard" mentality that it probably seemed acceptable to the guy to take the money - and even give the mandatory 10% to his Ward.
And since the philosophy is so widely held, the 'brothers' keeping watch over the 'flock' probably never even thought twice about the guy's windfall.
I worked closely for a LDS guy for many, many years, so I know more than a little bit about the subject.
I'm just sayin...

So, I was figuring that this despicable act would prevent him from getting his own planet to be God over. Are you saying maybe he might still become a God?
