The wife of the suspected Jordanian double agent who killed seven CIA workers in Afghanistan said Wednesday her husband regarded the United States as an adversary.

Defne Bayrak, the Turkish wife of Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi, told Turkish media by telephone she was shocked at the news that her husband blew himself up at a base in Afghanistan on Dec. 30, killing himself and the officers.

Bayrak, who lives in Istanbul, said her husband had plans to become a specialist in surgery in Turkey and doubts he was working for the CIA.

As a result, he should be tried as a spy and then shot.

Great work by our spooks, recruiting a double/triple/who knows agent who preached radical anti-American jihad.

And don’t bother patting him down. We trust him.

Huh???????

Amazing, no?

Well, apparently it 'explains a lot' to those at MSNBC. What frikin insanity! That and Obama, Inc.'s excuse that we must close Gitmo because it is listed as a recruitment tool.

Well, Illinois will be mentioned in the next jihadist recruitment campaign if they end up transferring Gitmo prisoners into the prairie state. And for sure, New York City will really get those ROP folks lining up!

These Islamists never imagined the 'Great Satan' (that was long before Gitmo, right?) would fall so easily. . .but times HAVE changed.

We Americans tend to overlook our adversaries. Much to our disadvantage.

As one of my Military Intelligence cohorts said today, it was a bit much to think that someone caught working for the enemy and “turned”, but without going through a period of prolonged deprogramming and sustained observation, would be someone you’d trust on a US compound without a close escort. To which I added, “and a Palestinian with a built-in ax to grind against the “Zionist enabler”, to boot.
