As I recall he was only in the wheel chair at the doctor's request when he did an in hospital press conference. Of course the hate crime is ok with liberals since the victim was a conservative.
There were speakers at the tea parties that were black along with participants, but liberals can't resist lying...it's part of their nature. I recall another blatant case where the MSM focused in on some guy who brought a rifle to a tea party. They edited the photo so you could only see the rifle and then accused the tea partiers of being racists...problem was, the person with the rifle was black.
