. . . just wait until the terrorists start working with the Mexican drug cartels to exploit their operational infrastructure to get over the U.S.-Mexico border to do us harm.

KEY ELEMENT: When sea interdictions stepped up, traffickers started using planes to get cocaine to Africa. Most flights appear to take off from Venezuela, which shares a border with Colombia.

"All of the aircraft seizures that have been made in West Africa, and we've made about a half a dozen of them, had departed from Venezuela. If you look at the range and refueling requirements, that's the place you have to fly from," he said...

Venezuela's fiery left-wing President Hugo Chavez says the United States and Colombia are using anti-drug operations as a cover for a planned invasion of his oil-rich country. Washington and Bogota dismiss the allegation.

Will the benefits of free trade never cease?

I have wondered why Hispanics have not gone to Europe in larger numbers. Sure the trip there would be more expensive, but social benefits are greater and easier to receive.

Plus it would improve the food available in Europe.

“Also known as walking across the open border”

and when the terrorists finally exploit this Achilles heel in our national security I can already hear Obama with his faux outrage about how “the system” failed and ordering an immediate review to determine how this happened.

The Mexican drug cartels have operational cells, supply lines and distribution networks in 250 cities across America, and some Islamic terrorist can hitch a ride on this network to get anywhere he wants. The vulnerability of our national security is illustrated by the fact that the Mexican drug cartels are smuggling $20 billion in drugs and cash back and forth across the border each year without detection, and we capture only a drop in the proverbial bucket. If the Mexican drug cartels successfully can bring in so much dope and so many illegal immigrants anywhere they want into the U.S., surely they can hide a few terrorists among the baled drugs and huddled illegals.

per the same posted article:

“All big Colombian trafficking groups, including the 45-year-old FARC, are using Africa to reach European cocaine consumers while Mexican cartels import chemicals used to make methamphetamine via the same route”

so the Mexican drug cartels probably are already dealing with AQ

If you can't supply your capital electricity you better try and change the subject.

The Columbians invented the methond of their “mules” swallowing balloons of cocaine to smuggle their drugs on airplanes.

Wait til the jihadi bombers get ahold of that idea for their bombs.
