If you've flown in the last 10 years, you would know that the stews even tell you to put your phone where you can reach it without getting up because they allow you to use it while taxiing after landing. It's in 9 out of 10 biz travellers' shirt/coat pockets. I'm surprised there's only one video, frankly.

How long did the whole incident take, that’s a question too. Most cell phones take at least ten seconds to boot up. If it looks like somebody’s trying to blow up the plane, my first thought is not going to be, hey, I’m going to turn on my cell phone and stare it for ten or fifteen seconds, then I’ll fumble with the keyboard so I can take a movie of whatever is happening thirty seconds from now.
everyone on the plane knew they were going to die at that point. who on the plane is going to be telling people not to use their phones, and who was going to be wasting what little time they had left filming instead of saying goodbye to their loved ones?
