Video: Olbermann compares 'Jihadists' to Brit Hume on religion (video at link)
Washington Times-Water Cooler ^ | 1/4/10 | Kerry Picket

Posted on 01/04/2010 8:58:12 PM PST by paltz

MSNBC's Keth Olbermann went after Fox News Channel's Brit Hume for comments Mr. Hume made about Christianity this weekend. Olbermann's comparison was so outrageous even his guest, Dan Savage, who was critical of Mr. Hume had to moderate Mr. Olbermann's remarks. (VIDEO BELOW)

OLBERMANN: (2:15 in) Isn't this the classic thing that your mother probably also pointed out to you about never discussing religion in public? You can discuss religion in public. Its like this that you're not supposed to do it. This crosses that principle. Keep religious advocacy out of public life since the worst examples of that are Jihadists---not to mention guys who don't know their own religions or someone else's religion like Brit Hume.

“The fool hath said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’”

Pray for poor stupid Keith Olbermann.

My $5 to your penny that within a month Olbermann will use “religion” as a knife against some random Christian conservative who is not “compassionate” enough for Olbermann’s likings.

Liberals must be defeated each and every generation. Keith Olbermann is no exception.

Our world is so troubled in part because we don't discuss religion and/or have taken God out of the classroom and our everday lives.

Bravo, Brit....keep it up!!!

Mr. Olberman, you have a call from the White Courtesy Throne, Mr. Olberman...

Dear God, how blind and foolish can one man be?! I’m not sure who is more ignorant — Keith Olbermann or Chris Matthews. These people have NO fear of God, and no concept of anyone bigger than themselves... “Pride goeth before a fall...”

Olbermann has spent his entire life totally focused on himself. He has absolutely nothing positive to show for his years on this planet. what a poor, pathetic man.

You know, I was watching some football this weekend and a guy that looked just like Obamalman was on talking about football like he was some ordinary guy.

I thought that would be like having Gus Hall or Lyndon LaRouche on to be a football commentator.

Tell me I was not imagining things.

Keith is one sick puppy. He has no soul plus he is brain dead. MSNBC is the perfect place for him

Brit promised the Fox News interns a paradise of reruns with Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham when they took their explosives and to blow up Keith Oblermann’s ratings. In the end all the interns returned undetonated because those ratings were too small to find.

I've tried to watch olberman a couple of times, but as soon as I hear his voice, all I can think of is that he's just a really bad Ted Knight impersonator, with far less intelligence, talent, or integrity than Knight's "Ted Baxter."

Keith is doing his master's bidding...it's that simple.

Pray he sees the light of truth.

I wonder if he’s just playing a character on msnbc that appeals to a tiny niche market of hardcore leftist kooks. It wouldn’t surprise me at all. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s serious either.

One big difference, Keith. I'm not going to kill ya if you don't convert.
