Dolly-
I went up to see Gail and Jeff late this afternoon. Jeff specifically asked me to contact you, lazamatz, Jim, squantos, TravisMcGee, eaker, & humblegunner to tell you thanks for prayers & keep praying. He is in a lot of pain. (But considering the enormity of the surgery he went through, he is doing good all things considered IMHO.) He will have a bone graft Tuesday (I think they said Tuesday).
Keep praying for him, Dolly!
Sorry this is so late at night. It is the only time I could get this done. I cant PM everybody on this list now, but you were first he mentioned. Also, I pmd eaker b/c Jeff had a request.
Regards-

Prayers continue
Prayers for Jeff and his family continue at my house, too. I hope his pain eases, and that the bone grafts are successful.
While there is still along way to go this is wonderful news! Prayers continuing!

It’s a long hard row to hoe but the outcome can be wonderful. I know this.
Keep up the good fight with the support of your many friends’ prayers.
Thank you for the UPDATE.
We’re thinking of you Jeff & Gail.
DollyCali, thank you for all your updates on Jeff Head. I’m always anxious to read them and don’t get back to thank you, so I’m doing so first this time. Jeff’s strong faith and incredible gift of prayer and endurance to write so extensively while enduring excruciating pain are an inspiration to all of us. We continue to pray daily for Jeff’s surgeons and all those involved in his extensive surgery and after care as well as for Jeff and his family as he is watched over by our Master Healer and Lord.
Thanks for the update, prayers continue for Jeff, Gail and their family.
Jeff is such an inspiration, if and when I ever have to face something as daunting, I will remember the strength and faith he has shown us. He is my hero.
Continued prayers for him and his family.
Prayers for my friend.
More prayers up from a soggy Tennessee!
Thank you for keeping us informed. Prayers continue...
Dolly, THANKS so very much for yet another encouraging update! More prayers on their way! And HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! {{{{hugs}}}}
Thanks, Dolly, for the update.
Just said a prayer for Jeff’s pain to subside—it is a major operation. He will be a bionoc Freeper when he is done—there’s no telling what he may accomplish then!
Jeff’s work on this Earth is not yet done. Pain or not, his Heavenly Father and ours is in command of Jeff and Gail’s future, as He always has been. No better place to be, then in the palm of His hands.
Fellow Freepers, say a prayer for Jeff today—for an end of pain and for strength.
Thank you for the update, Dolly.
Continuing to pray for Jeff, his family and his medical team. Praying that God bless and be with him every step of the way through this ordeal, and that He comfort him and make him strong to successfully achieve all that is necessary for his complete wellbeing.
Dolly, thanks for the update. My prayers continue
If your name wasn't on the list, please don't be offended. Jeff was trying so hard to remember... even telling me exactly how to spell names. He is sort of in and out of it. I'm sure that last would/could have been extremely long!!
Today is his bone graft surgery! Pray FReepers!! After this, the rehab starts; which will be the next hurdle. Gail told me it will begin with a tilted bed b/c he has been flat on his back for so long. Pray accordingly!
He is anxious, understandably. We have been praying for "the peace that passes understanding to guard his heart and mind."
Gail is amazing! She is such a strong woman! She is such a wonderful source of calm and support to Jeff! It was so amazing to witness. Continue to pray for her peace, stength, and rest! Also, can you imagine being thousands a miles away from your family and friends during a time like this? Continue to pray for the family! That's somebody's daddy and mama... brother, friend, etc!
Jeff wanted me to tell y'all thank you so much for the prayers! He kept repeating that, y'all!
Thank you for the update. Hopefully, the worst is behind him. God bless Jeff and Gail, they will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
