Hosts Mika, Lawrence O'Donnell & Mike Barnacle appear to note in an air of disgust that drug/insurance company stocks are up.
After Sanders Interview:
What is CUT from the MSNBC Morning Joe Interview with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) are the host's shared giddiness over Bernie:
Mika is so impressed with Saunder's honesty that she thinks she might just have "a crush on Bernie". Co-hosts, Lawrence O'Donnell (especially) and Mike Barnacle giggle about their "Man Crush" on Bernie.
No "leg tingles" this time, just an all out "crush on Bernie".
O'Donnell also added (and was cut) "The last honest senator left in Congress".
Joe Scarborough was said stuck at the airport.
Re: MSNBC, Leg Tingles, Crush on Bernie, Man Crush
Bernie spoke against it before he voted for it—??
No..Bernie spoke AGAINST it AFTER he voted FOR it.. ;)
AGGGGHHHHHHHH.....Hearing them is bad enough....SEEING THEM.....YOWEE!
Then why did he vote for cloture? It’s a bit late to whine about it now, Bernie.
Bernie is the high price whore. It took 20 times the amount to buy his vote then them cheap hookers.
But you voted for it anyway, didn’t you Bernie? You God-damned whore.
We see that the enemy is big govt working with big business against the interest of the common citizen. They both need to be cut down to size.
Some Republicans have had a long, worshipful relationship with business over the years. Now the evidence is really piling up that business has never had any interest in mind other than its own bottom line. And they’ll be teaming up with Reid and Pelosi and Obama again whenever the next amnesty push begins. And quite a few big corporations are looking forward to cap and trade.
Nothing unusual about that.
Big Business was behind most of the regulations passed during the progressive period.
They hate competition.
I have thought from the beginning the way to increase health care access for the "poor" is to establish local clinics - to provide tuition incentives to students training to be doctors, nurse practitioners and nurses. (Especially true of nurse practitioners, we could use a lot more of those). The military does this already - they pay for doctors (and nurses?) to attend med school in exchange for X number of years of service. Why wouldn't that work for neighborhood clinics? Pay the tuition costs in exchange for three or four years of service at a neighborhood clinic. People would have a choice - A)buy their own private insurance and have the opportunity to choose their own private practitioners and prescription providers or B)go to the free clinic for treatment and meds. Of course, you would probably have to wait in line at a clinic as opposed to a private doctor. But, as the old cliche says - "Beggars Can't Be Choosers". There should be penalties for anyone choosing to go to the Emergency Room when it is not a "true" emergency. If DEMS would take this approach, we would encourage a huge increase in the number of trained medical personnel.
The socialist philosophy is - no one person deserves a better health insurance plan than another. Let me emphasize, I did not say better health CARE, I said better INSURANCE! If a person works hard and makes a good living, that person should have the choice of purchasing a plan that happens to be better, maybe much better, than the plan available, for free, to the less fortunate.
The problem is, not many know the history, and especially some very prominent talk show hosts who talk as if business can do no wrong. They need to educate themselves about the past, and look closely at what business has done in this health care debate and others recently.
Business is conservative only when it helps their bottom line.
Google is especially "bedded" into the White House.
Very true.
We need to be for the free market, not pro-business, which often translates into giving existing business special perks.
