The Senate's health care bill must be killed. Sign our petition to Congress and President Obama: We must do better for health care than this bill.

The Senate health care bill is an ungodly mess of errors, loopholes, and massive giveaways. When the American people find out what's actually in this bill, they will revolt. Here's why:

TAKE A MINUTE TO SIGN THE PETITION..WHAT CAN IT HURT! 1. Forces you to pay up to 8% of your income to private insurance corporations -- whether you want to or not (#) 2. If you refuse to buy the insurance, you'll have to pay penalties of up to 2% of your annual income to the IRS (#) 3. After being forced to pay thousands in premiums for junk insurance, you can still be on the hook for up to $11,900 a year in out-of-pocket medical expenses (#) 4. Massive restriction on a woman's right to choose, designed to trigger a challenge to Roe v. Wade in the Supreme Court (#) 5. Paid for by taxes on the middle class insurance plan you have right now through your employer, causing them to cut back benefits and increase co-pays (#) 6. Many of the taxes to pay for the bill start now, but most Americans won't see any benefits -- like an end to discrimination against those with preexisting conditions -- until 2014 when the program begins (#) 7. Allows insurance companies to charge people who are older 300% more than others (#) 8. Grants monopolies to drug companies that will keep generic versions of expensive biotech drugs from ever coming to market (#) 9. No reimportation of prescription drugs, which would save consumers $100 billion over 10 years (#) 10. The cost of medical care will continue to rise, and insurance premiums for a family of four will rise an average of $1000 a year -- meaning in 10 years, you family's insurance premium will be $10,000 more annually than it is right now (#)

Like congress cares what you think. They’ve turned off their phones, their faxes and their E-mail.

They aren’t listening, we need to get pictures of them with their dog or something. Maybe then we will have the leverage to overcome their corruption.

It's worse than even the bribes - Reid includes a section that will require Super Majority (67 votes) to repeal the health bill!

From RedState:
Reid has slipped in a provision into the health care legislation prohibiting future Congresses from changing any regulations imposed on Americans by the Independent Medicare [note: originally referred to as "medical"] Advisory Boards, which are commonly called the “Death Panels.”

Let's see. Regulations (laws) imposed by unelected bureaucrats will require a supra majority by legislators to change? So, you can be jailed for violating a "rule" which is not passed by elected legislators. That's not socialism folks, that's communism.

I am calling my senators today (KY) and asking a simple question. I am going to give my name and address and request a written response from each. That question will be:

Senator Bunning/McConnell, when some of us are jailed for refusing to obey some portion of this unconstitutional law, what do you plan to do to assist us?

Told them bill was patently unconstitutional and copy/pasted #1-#3 below.

Contact your State Governors! 10th Amendment.

Back on 1 April 2009, and not as an April Fool’s joke, the Senate of the Great State of Georgia passed Senate Resolution 632 affirming States Rights. Below is a letter sent today, 22 December 2009, to Governor Perdue. And I spelled his name incorrectly . . . for effect . . . that’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.

Dear Governor Purdue:

The United States Congress, having over stepped its Constitutional Mandates, has begun the final steps to ratify a Health Care Reform Bill. This bill is unconstitutional in many ways: 1- all 50 States are not treated equally; 2- it forces people to purchase a particular product and fines them if they do not; 3- Health Care is not a right guaranteed by the US Constitution under the “general welfare” clause or it would have been initiated as soon as the several States signed the US Constitution.

Please actively publicize SR 632 - Jeffersonian Principles; affirming state’s rights passed by the Georgia Senate on 1 April 2009. Please announce to the United States Congress and to other States who have similar Nullification Legislation that the State of Georgia will not comply with an patently unconstitutional “Health Care Reform Bill.”

All The Republicans Have To Do To Derail The Health Care Bill Is State, On The Floor Of The Senate, With The Cameras Running: Mr. Speaker, The Republicans In This Session, DEMAND That Barack Hussein Obama Produce His Long Form Birth Certificate And His College Transcripts To Verify That He Is Lawfully Acting As President Of The United States Of America.

Then, they all go to their desks and turn their backs on the Speaker. The bedlam that will ensue will be priceless.
