This says the “death panels” are damned important to the Marxist state they are trying to establish.

I heard a Republican rep from Illinois on the radio this morning. He said it would be quite simple to stop this. He said if there was a majority against it in 2010 or 2012, all they would have to do is attach an amendment to any bill, defunding the whole thing. Is that true or possible?

My a plague strike down every Democrat and RINO congress “person”

Good work by Jim DeMint though. He’s fighting a losing battle.

It isn’t BS. I listened to the debate tonight. There is a proivsion in this bill that makes this crap virtually unrepealable.

DeMint came onto the floor to challenge it and was pushed back by the parlamentarian who said they do things like this all of the time.

This is not true. They do not change the standing rules of the Senate in legislation. That is what Section 3403 of this bill proposes.

This is along the lines of what Zelaya was trying to do in Honduras. He was stopped by some freedom loving Hondurans.

What will Americans do?

This comment appears in Red State’s comment section:

One congress cannot bind another. This really doesn’t matter. The problem will be just repealing the thing period, even under the simple, traditional filibuster.

Exclusive: ACORN Qualifies for Funding in Senate Health Care Bill

Senator Roland Burris is claiming credit for a provision in Harry Reid’s “manager’s amendment,” unveiled Saturday morning, that could funnel money to ACORN through the health care bill.

For many months (if not years) I have felt that the libs are like waves on the shore: they won’t stop, they overwhelm by persistence, they obfuscate, they personally attack, they... It is endless. They deny it at every turn, but they are anti-American traitors. Resist! Resist! Resist!

This won’t stand up! Besides the Presiding Officer only stated his opinion not any ruling by the Parliamentarian.
No doubt the slimmy dems thought they could slip it through and no one would notice.

Even though it obvious that a great number of the current Senators are not worth the powder it would take to blow them away, this current gaggle does not have the power to make such a change simply because they hid it with trickery before some cloture vote.

Don’t let this flashing bright light off to the side divert you eye from the target.

But remember even when the republican had the majority they still let the democraps run the place.

They never had a filibuster-proof majority.

One lone cry in the darkness.

Certainly, if the citizens sit on the sidelines. Are we willing to say he is just a voice on the sidelines? Or will we offer our support and our help?
