I’m rusty on this stuff, but used to read up on all of it.
Even when Bush extended the voluntary Workplace Verification Bill, the employer could not fire over it. I believe there was text in the forms the employer used that stated possible “discrimination” issues, if an employer chose to do so.
This possibility would run true to any situation regarding mismatching numbers because only the feds can know who is really who. Which is using a forged or stolen document. And since they collect tax dollars from one of the parties who never files for a return, you can guess how often they choose to enforce the law.
