--NNN TV crew got ahold of new color photographs of some of the cargo of this mysterious Ilyushin II-76, searched and seized in Bangkok earlier this week with quite a suprising load of Christmas gifts from North Korea to somebody somewhere.
--RPGs (rocket propelled grenade launchers) were seen in plastic wrapping, with shipment delivery documents on top of them.
--In another photograph were metal boxes with English writing, the letters/numbers K100, referring to ground to air missiles, also information on apparant weight, etc.
--Green colored metal tins were also shown, with English alphabet letters, and also a knife for opening the metal containers.
--In one of the photos appears to be missile parts.
--35 tonnes of stuff was seized.
AND NOW MORE BREAKING NEWS:
SANKEI NEWS IN JAPANESE HERE (reporter Hiroyuki Miyano) reports that a high-ranking Thai official states that apparantly in this craft were found various parts for **the North Korean Taepodong-2 Long Range ICBM Missile.** It appears by all indications this was heading for IRAN. Missile specialists were called in to see the materiel first hand and came to this conclusion, and several specialists said that North Korea had shipped these kinds of unique components to Iran in the past.
This contradicts an earlier Bloomberg story.
Also, reports are that the crew will be charged with smuggling explosives into Thailand, which is punishable by DEATH. Further, investigation revealed that five (four Kazakhastan/one Belarus) were all employees of private Kazahkstan airline company, but that all had submitted requests for "vacation" and were in fact on "vacation".
Ping!
(snip) "However, the Japanese TV crew was at it again, they got a close look at the Bill of Lading with the destination, filmed it, and reaired it. It was clearly handrwitten in English on the sheet "MEHRABAD AIRPORT" (Teheran),فرودگاه مهرآباد (IATA Code: THR) is an airport that serves Teheran, Iran. This airport is close to the city center of Teheran and is not used widely for commercial international arrivals and departures, and is also shared by the Iranian military."
Great work there. Thanks.

Thailand?
I’m sure that this isn’t the first such flight. I wonder what tipped them off about this particular one?
And let this always be a fundamental lesson about world tyrants and those who think they are somehow, by some insane stretch of the imagination, doing us all a great favor by coddling them and appeashing them.
The illegal and dangerous DPRK arms and missile shipment left Pyongyang somewhat AFTER the receipt by Kim Jong-il of the "Obama Appeasement Letter" (asking North Korea to please be reasonable) hand-delivered by State Department negotiator Stephen Bosworth on 8 December in Pyongyang.
Kim Jong-il no doubt knew of both of these things: a) Obama's Letter and b) this joint cooperative operation with Iran.
I guess this is Kim's answer, Mr. President.
you are quick :-)
I'd say time for sarcastic, moving or eloquent speeches are Over.
Let's see what can be delivered to at least neutralize those "tyrants" et al.
“Also, reports are that the crew will be charged with smuggling explosives into Thailand, which is punishable by DEATH”
In Asia, they don’t fool around with chicken $hit sentences.
I remember a card handed to me at KLIA on my first arrival.
WARNING: “The sale or use of narcotics carries the death penalty”
Thanks for the info.
“I guess this is Kim’s answer, Mr. President. “
As my chinese girlfriend once said when she was waiting for me in the rain...
“( )ucka you!!”

NOW! back to COPEN-HAAAGEN! And our most benevolent and exalted savior Barrack ObaMao, and his speech on saving the Planet from ourselves or how the WORLD will go Bankrupt......if Climate Legislation is not passed.......
Revolution II is required.

This Iranian missile biz with the Norks is about as serious as you can get...I figured the US media back home would be that way--exactly as you describe it P-F. Almost a kind of separate reality
Great job, AmericanInTokyo.
Strange how this too has been ignored by our media here in the states.
Sort of like having to read Canadian or euro newspapers to find out how truly slimy this obamma and his whole outfit is.
Again great job,
Thanks
thanks Joe
I believe there is also an “Iran” ping list on FR. And they are certainly welcome to ping this, same for any kind of Israeli ping list. Multiple ramifications here.
