The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 23% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19.
Today is the second straight day that Obamas Approval Index rating has fallen to a new low. Prior to the past two days, the Approval Index had never fallen below -15 during Obamas time in office (see trends).
I have been afraid of this since day one actually, that he would just do as much damage as possible and then not seek reelection. Leaving us with most of the mess permanently just like LBJ
After a while, it seemed that most people would rather claim to be a child molester than admit they’d voted for Bubba. :-)

Which is fine and dandy, but it’s still a solidly BLUE state, as is my state of WA. We seem to learn nothing from these debacle presidencies, although as crazy as bubba’s two terms were, they’re nothing compared to bammy’s 11 months (as others have pointed out also.)
I agree ... Jeb’s chances are looking much better than a year ago.

Except, we’ve a gathering consensus (even a political tsunami) that will overwhelm the RATS in 2010. The same couldn’t be said of Nixon’s election in ‘68, when LBJ didn’t even run again. That said, wouldn’t it be nice if bammy didn’t run? Or would we prefer him to run? We’ll leave that delicious conundrum to the RATS to figure out.

Dunno, if people are ready for the Bush Dynasty III.
Obama and Tiger are basically the same MSM created character.
Since the Rasmussen number is based on a 3-day rolling average, for the number to drop from -12 on 12/11 to -16 on 12/12, and -19 on 12/13, that means there are two days of absolutely terrible numbers for Obama (good for us, of course) reflected in that average.
The first really bad number was on 12/12, probably something like -24. The number on 12/13 was probably -21.
Unless Obama gets a really, really good number in today’s polling, the average number that will be posted tomorrow will almost certainly be lower than -20.
My guess is that tomorrow, the number will be -22.
His speaches mean NOTHING anymore, what he says doesn’t matter, people have finally figured this out.
Forget what he says, watch what he DOES.
The “money quote” for me:
>> Among voters not affiliated with either major party, 21% Strongly Approve and 49% Strongly Disapprove <<
If these numbers will simply freeze at current levels, then there’s no way Øtøtus can be re-elected in 2102 — that is, unless a foolish “third party” candidate drains a big number of votes away from the ‘Pub side.
If the (GOP sucks so bad that) the Tea Party forms, and they field any candidates, it better be locally and in races they can win.
I took it as 47% of the voters admitted voting for him. That brings his number from 53% down to 47%.
That means that 6% of voters who actually voted for him won’t admit it because they don’t want to be seen as idiots. I imagine that their remorse is evident and they will not vote democrat in the coming election(s).
I would love to think that it’s 47% X 53% but, he would be much lower in the polls than today.
I cannot remember what happened to give him that spike in the week of 5/29??
More and more people are waking up in America. -20 right around the corner!
I do not agree. The higher disapproval number is caused by the breaking up of the Dem liberal/socialist coalition. The GOP already went thru their conservative/RINO split in 2006, now the Dems are going thru their split. By 2012 if the economy does not improve, war is still raging in Afghanistan as a stalemate, cost of war and bailouts keep going up and up along with government taxes and fees, the US election in 2012 may be a four way split with Socialists, Tea Party, Democrat and GOP candidates/factions.
“What we really need to stop this moron is for all FREEPERs to donate to Scott Brown R-MA who is running in the special election to replace teddy k. The election is in 6 weeks. Why hasnt the National GOP given any attention to this?”
YES...Were is the GOP on SCOTT BROWN????...the Massacusetts Democrat Martha Coakley has tons of money and Scott needs all the help he can get! Martha is the Attorney General except she is soft on crime and let a sex offending priest walk in a back room deal even though 3 boys came forward that John Gagnon had molested them. Martha just transferred this pervert to another churh, kept it quiet and out of the media and quess what...he went on to molest more boys. Shocking!!!! She needs to be thrown in JAIL but she will likely get Teddy’s SENATE SEAT.
