The Huck was governor for quite a long time ~ longer than his two previous corrupt predecessors.

Joe Conason, a Republican hater from way back ~ a man whose Democrat slime is so pernicious you should not allow him to stand on the sidewalk in front of your home ~ says The Huck pardoned more folks in the last 40 years than any other Governor in that period.

Which is true, but that's mostly because of the length of his term.

It's a regular practice in Arkansas to sell pardons ~ a practice of which The Huck is singularly not accused.

The American Spectator reports that Huckabee pardoned 1,033 individuals - more than the three previous governors before hime combined - over 500 from 3 governors - and more than the six states surrounding Arkansas combined. Bill Clinton was governor of Arkansas a total of 12 years and yet never came close to pardoning that many criminals. So the length of his term has nothing to do with the number of criminals Huckaphoney pardoned.
