Huckabee is still hiding behind the Post Prison Transfer Board and their recommendation to decrease his sentence to 49 years or so so that the Parole board could parole him out.
The prosecutors, as they are stating now, though Huckabee refuts this, warned him about this creep and he still went ahead and effectively released him.
Interesting to know what the truth of the matter was. Did the prosecutors fail to respond?
Even if true, I should think they should have been asked AGAIN before letting a violent criminal out, rather than taking failure to respond as agreement.
I would add that there were NUMEROUS other cases of violent criminals and murderers who were pardoned by Huckabee. A huge number, at least one of whom went on to commit more violent crimes.
Moreover, as I recall, there were several other cases where there was at least the appearance that Huckabee was paid to pardon people—same as his buddy clinton.
