i hope you’re right but he can easily claim the elections weren’t up to some UN standard.

I think the term that is used to day is “epic failure”... and for Zero, add the latest one to his growing list of failures.

You begin to get the idea that Zero and his close staff are extremely obtuse. There are no pro's in this crowd at all.

My prediction has not changed, by October of 2010 you won't be able to find a Democratic pol other than a Schumer or Pelosi who would be seen with him. He will be toxic.

No doubt about it. It’s all over the press in Asia, both in English language press and local language-media. He really fell on his face out here.

From the article: “Right now Wall Street, Alan Greenspan and the Chicago-school of market mania has so undercut America’s standing in Asia by the horrible recession they caused, that even President Obama’s popularity couldn’t overcome it’s negative impact.”

I think the author is not blaming Obama so much as free enterprise. Note his use of the words “Chicago-school of market mania”. What utter nonsense! The four tigers of Asia: Honk Kong, South Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan have been successful in no small part to “Chicago-school believe in free markets and free minds”. Much of the success of China and India has been due to “Chicago style economics”. Our failures have been because we moved away from that school of economics.

Here is the irony. He screws up big time on the bow with the Emperor. But has the audacity to pass himself off as some kind of person sensitive to this region, which means languages, customs, culture, food, history, pop culture, etc.

So what does his press spokesman or handler Gibbs and Axelrod say about the "bow" afterwards to give some kind of indication of the big boss's thoughts following the scene?

"No biggie, it's not a problem. We did not spend any time thinking about that as an issue."

That to me reflects arrogance and shows to me their "senstivitity to the local situation in Asia including culture" is nothing but empty words. Their elite arrogance and refusing to probably listen to or solicit good advice from professionals on what to do was apparantly ignored outright. Otherwise they would have admitted a mistake and said they are learning. Shows the heighth of arrogance, know-it-all-ism and narcissism. They are going to trip over their shoelaces all over the globe like this, with this kind of attitude if you ask me.

Thanks for that report. It’s heartening to know that at least the people of Asia see through Obozo’s charade.

Too bad for America though,,,

Thank you very much for being our go-between with the news services over there.

I have about 3 seconds of pity for Obama and what he must have to think about before he goes to bed every night knowing full well that he is the laughingstock of all world leaders, the buffoon of Terra.

Just a few days ago some clown assured me that Obama is patching up relationships with all the countries where Bush destroyed diplomatic relations and made the people all hate us. I guess if you can believe he is “fixing” our medical system you can believe anything.

Question, did we ever see any reports about any trips by George W. Bush being a failure? Just curious because I really don’t remember.

Now comes word in the Japanese press in Sankei News to be exact, in just the last 90 minutes, that a Major General (羅援少将 to be exact) of a hardline faction in the Chinese People's Liberation Army has given a talk at an event in Beijing, here he calls Taiwan President Ma Ying-jeoh to task and says that "peace will break down" between Taiwan and Mainland China if it insists on the status quo of the "Threes". a) Will not go independent, b) Will not reunited with the Mainland, c) Will not resolve (matters) through military means.

This is essentially a war threat, and the Japanese article says talk like this is rare.

Really great going, Obama. Brilliant.

There were major, MSM articles hitting him from the left, yes. But I have to say in all frankness, yes, he too made considerable errors regarding North Korea in the final two to three years of his Administration. We reported on that fact on FR in detail from a right perspective. Add Condi and Chris Hill into that fiasco as wel.
