Hanukkah shrinks, Ramadan expands. So will Kwanzaa, I bet.
This current White House is a flat out joke.
He didn’t observe National Prayer Day, but he did manage to celebrate all the Muslim festivals.
Interesting to see whether he bothers to celebrate Christmas.
Politically, this can only be a good thing. It's time the 90% of American Jews stopped being knee-jerk liberal Democrats and started voting for the truth of the candidate and the issues.

The new Christmas/Chanukah slogan at the White House:
“No more room for Jews in the inn.”
Since the “inn” was in Bethlehem, now those who can come into it are named Abbu, Hassan, Achmed, and Juan (yeah, he came across the Jordanian border with a coyote). No Jews or Christians allowed, unless you want to be dead.

Now that fits as the funniest statement of the day. This man is watching the nation’s purse? GADS - what a ridiculous statement. When are we going to find out just what all these special events cost us? We need to know so we can see where his priorities are and just who is worth HIS time and OUR money.
All we got from the NYC flyby were a jumble of numbers, none of which made sense and not any figures from the “royal” trips abroad all summer.

The White House should not be having a Chanukah party, it's not that type of holiday. I know many people who celebrate Chanukah, some, but very few, who think of it as a party.
Hope he invites enough folk that the kids get a satisfactory number of presents.
Smaller party to save money? LOL what a joke coming from the WH that has a party just for the heck of it every week.
So what was the budget for Ramadan?
But the larger state dinner for the Prime Minister of India isn't, of course. Neither are the six-figure weekend "date nights".
But it's nice of the author to speculate about the motive. Very professional. These WaPo Jr. guys are first-rate.
