BB: No he didn’t. Others did.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I say that is absolutely untrue, if he had ignored the issue instead of having a RINO bleeding heart moment on national television he might have had a far better chance.

America doesn’t care much about the issue of religion, but it cares if you are or seem to be a divisive zealot. Both Huckabee and Romney made that mistake. Its the KISS OF DEATH in American politics, and both Huckabee and Romney need to fold their tents and go home, they are wasting their time and money. They forever doomed themselves.

Now the lefty press is trying to get Palin to have her religious bleeding heart moment moment too. And she will ignore it as both Rommney and Huckabee should have. And that separates the wheat from the chaff. Religion is a divisive issue and always will be. It was stupid for both Huckabee and Romney to begin their whining about religion, forgetting that usual maxim in US politics, thinking they had entered a NEW AGE. WRONGO!

And they will pay the price, over and over.

Now stop saying the cart came before the horse. Its silly. Romney didn’t have enough sense to ignore the issue, and therefore Americans think that he would not ignore it while in office. And that is an impression that Romney has imprinted in the minds of Americans. And he did it to himself, no one did it to him.

Not sure I agree completely about the religion issue. I’d almost vote for anyone who slammed islam for what it is...a terrorist organization. I said “almost”.

Baloney!
You have a revisionist approach to history.
Romney refused to discuss the issue, until others demanded it from him, saying he should do as JFK did and promise not to let his religious leaders dictate to him.
When he gave that talk, he almost completely ignored his own religion. That is, he didn't go as far as JFK. He mentioned his own religion in only ONE sentence. He made the talk about religious freedom and tolerance in general, and the religious foundation of the country. Take out that one sentence, and the talk could have been given by anyone.
And you are wrong that the country doesn't care about religion. About half of the country is very religious and it means a lot to them how it is viewed by their leader.
