Fort Hood shooting: Nidal Malik Hasan sought prosecutions for 'war crimes confessions'
Telegraph UK ^ | 11/17/09

Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the Fort Hood gunman, had sought military prosecutions against soldiers he claimed confessed "war crimes" to him during counselling sessions.

Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, last threatened to pursue prosecutions against other soldiers on Nov 2. Two days later he went for extra target practice at a shooting range where he bought 10 targets and fired more than 200 rounds

He also closed his bank safety deposit box, telling a bank worker: "You'll never see me again." The day after that he went on a murderous rampage at Fort Hood, America's largest military installation, killing 13 people and wounding around 30.

Investigators believe his inability to get Army authorities to pursue what he claimed was wrongdoing in Iraq and Afghanistan may have contributed to his decision to carry out the massacre.

A federal investigator told ABC News: "The Army may not want to admit it, and you may not hear much about it, but it was very big for him." Hasan was understood to have made inquiries of superiors whether he was able to provide evidence of alleged "war crimes" he had learned about in his work as a psychiatrist. He signed emails to military prosecutors "Praise Be to Allah," according to ABC News.

All Baloney Channel so who is this federal investigator? Do they mean his lawyer because it sure doesn't sound like something an investigator would come up with does it?

So much for confidentiality of Psychiatry records...
If this is true, he is severely in breach
of the sanctity of his service to the soldiers

Someone is churning up the muddy waters
Clarity is what is needed

He killed in cold blood
He entered in the US Military volutarily
Accepting the Oaths freely and without reservation
No-one stuck a gun to his head

Sounds like Kerry, but within the last month or so there were a number of posts on the net (at Washingtonpost.com for one) where this complaint about "confessions" was made.

Might be worth looking up and see if it's Nidal or one of his little friends.

First of all, what is said in counseling is not supposed to be discussed with anyone else. If he where protecting someone from a person who was going to commit a crime then he has legal justification. Otherwise it's supposed to be private.

Second, this guy has been anti-US for long enough to be capable of making things up, so how much credibility does he have in these accusations.

Third, soldiers probably carry a lot of guilt about killing people. They’re human beings and it's an incredibly hard job they do. I'm sure they are affected by killing people, especially when it's so hard to tell who it is that is your enemy and who is trying to kill you. They came to him as patients in need of advice and counseling.

Someday, we will be reading his whole file and not some “evidence” that he wasn’t responsible for killing thirteen innocents. If he had the goods, he should have resigned and forgot about the guns, unless there was a terrorist connection egging him on.

The United States military leadership is derelict if they do not remove all Wahhabi sect Sunni Mohammedan from their ranks immediately. How many of our disarmed military must die to wake these feminine generals screw ups?? Many more will die if we don’t find leadership NOW. If action is not taken and this regime changes,it is my opinion that these cowards should be court martial-ed and punished very severely.Where is the damned Senate inquiry into the affiliation to the Wahhabi sect Sunni that is so apparent here? Those Senate cowards are complicit in this cover up. But I assure all that these Wahhabi Sunni bastard will prevail again and again until we purge our beloved country and (for the sake of JESUS) out womanized military of these bastards.

When you see “investigators” think “unnamed sources”. They are just as reliable. More likely, it is the reporters way of pretending he actually left his desk to write this crap.

“Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the Fort Hood gunman, had sought military prosecutions
against soldiers he claimed confessed “war crimes” to him during counselling
sessions.

Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, last threatened to pursue prosecutions
against other soldiers on Nov 2.”

TOTAL AND COMPLETE BREACH OF PATIENT CONFIDENTIALITY

And the reason his medical supervisors and (presumably) the JAG officer(s)
that received his complaints didn’t IMMEDIATELY notify the board/body
that certified Hasan as a psychiatrist is.....?????

I guar-on-darn-tee ya...if he’d been an Aryan nut or a Serbian extremist...
he’d been drummed out or prosecuted LONG before the career stage
that Maj. Hasan managed to attain.

Now we find that his oath of confidentiality between a doctor and his patient meant nothing, either.

The more we know about him, the more I am disgusted with the political correctness that forced people to choose between their careers and exposing him.

That political correctness seems to be permeating every area of life and not only here this problem is just growing world wide and really it seems our own leaders have a big hand in pushing this on us.

Yeah, I get a big picture of Hasan testifying against a U.S. soldier. Hasan would get taken apart and put back together on cross-examination. In any event, the confidentiality that attaches to psychiatrist-client relations would prevent him from giving evidence.

If Hasan’s supervisors truly did nothing regarding his complaints, then why did not Hasan shoot his bosses?

This story is beginning to sound like it is coming from Hasan’s attorney (paid with our tax dollars).

Actually you need to know how this little game is played.

First off Psychologists and Psychiatrists by nature 9 out of 10 times are liberal sacks oo crap. Having some relationship to the Military does not change that. They view their position as a way they can wage a soft war on the US damage the US Military they hate...

Long ago I watched how they would “Build a trusting relationship” with some troubled GI.. Then as he would become more and more dependent and trusting.. he might say something incriminating..

Now here is the trick..

You see those Scum in the JAG have already been there and briefed their fellow anti-American travelers as to how they are to respond.. What the Psychologist/Psychiatrist say real low key and matter a fact is ... “I have to read this it's just proforma you understand?”

Then they proceed to read the Soldier or Marine his Rights as if it has something to do with their requirements and is not going to affect the GI..

They know to do this when the GI is as emotionally devastated as he ever has been in his life looking for a way to deal with emotionally traumatic issues..

He may feel guilt and hold himself accountable for something he had nothing to do with.. It does not matter all the sacks of crap want is..a confession’’’I did it”.

Now as he goes on the Psychologist/Psychiatrist submits the information to the JAG ASSes for Prosecution. ..

There is only one fellow a GI can talk to a Catholic or Orthodox Priest and that must be in the context of a Confessional to be protected.. Because so many Anti-American Scum who have set up shop wormed their way into the Military these days it is best GIs just shut their mouths because the JaG Asses, psychologists/Psychiatrists are not and never have been a friend to the GI..

I think paper targets imprinted with Nidal Hasan’s face and bald head might have commercial possibilities.

Darn it you just went and got me p.ssed off again

It is bad enough to see this as an isolated event
It would be MUCH WORSE to think that the
Psychiatry professionals as a class would be
systematically in breach of the
Doctor - Patient relationship for reason of
a Political Anti-Military agenda
