Anti Palin comments are counter-productive and should not be tolerated among us. (Vanity)

Those of you. You know who you are.

I don't care who you are or what your reasoning is. Your siding with the maistream media against Palin is doing nothing to help Republicans or Conservatism in general. You are hurting your own cause. Unless you are a DU troll. Or a liberal Republican who has no idea what the heck you are even talking about.

Ani Palin comments (such as "shes not fit to be President") should be seen as trolling and should not be tolerated on Free Republic, any conservative web site or any conservative setting. While I am not calling for anyone to be purged from this website. I, and others are going to keep a list of Palin hating trolls so the rest of you know who has credibility and who doesn't. who is a troll, and who isn't.

We will know your posting history. We know where your opinons are coming from. The Palin bashing is getting old. And the cat calls will likely increase for Jim Robinson to do some fall cleaning if this continues.

So, please. stop inflicting damage on conservatism.

I am not against Free Speech.

But why would someone in their right mind go on a conservative website and trash the most popular conservative figure in the country unless they are just trying to cause problems ?

maybe some don’t know it. I just want people to know that it hurts our cause.

No, no. It’s a free country. I would never ever tell them not to post. I would simply tell them that if I disagree with them, it is because they are wrong.

This is all well and good until the Romney supporters come in with “if you buy in into any criticisms of Romney, you’re an anti-Mormon bigot just like CNN, and I want you purged from FR!”

Then we can just go around in circles until we get a pantheon on unimpeachable Republican idols and a mob of “evil DemonRats”, and end up with a schoolkid’s black-and-white vision of politics.

How about we just critique politicians based on their voting history, statements, and background? Then we can avoid all this “I heard juicy gossip about XYZ” and “LOL let me make a funny pun about So-and-So’s name, get it? LOL!!!”

Not only was Matthews praising her, but Norah O’Donnell too..my jaw dropped(Which believe me takes a lot for that to happen). Chris Matthews is such a flip flopper though, one second he calls her stupid, then the next day she is brilliant, then she is back to being dumb, now she is back to being brilliant. I don’t know what to make of this guy, but watching that youtube clip, it was actually tolerable to watch, and considering what network he works on that says A LOT. He is 100 percent right on everything he said, her book tours, they are not book tours, anyone who thinks these are just regular run of the mill typical book tours are fooling themselves. These are campaign stops, notice the areas she is hitting, these are areas Obama won, Florida, Michigan, PA, Ohio, she is hitting the battleground states for a reason

Go to Ebay. I have one on my car—and have since the winter. “Don’t blame me...I voted for Sarah”. Right across from my “Atlas is shrugging” sticker—with the “O” symbol for the head.

On ANOTHER thought...some are saying Sarah could be the “next Reagan”....what do YOU all think about that?? SO far...she HAS stood high above ALL of the detractors and continues to be a strong force for conservatism....but the next REAGAN??

I appreciate your enthusiasm for Palin, but it isn’t possible to be a public figure without some amount of criticism ... someone somewhere will find fault with whatever you do.

Palin is very appealing, and most any conservative or moderate would mostly agree with her politically and in principle, but let’s not idealize.

We have seen what blind uncritical worship and devotion looks like from the Kool-Aid drinking children that supplicate before their Progressive Messiah ...

We don’t do that here.

Sounds like an edict Obama has given to the MSM.

As my dear Mother use to say, “Who died and left you in charge?”

Is this Free Republic or did I contribute to the Sarah Palin site?

While I agree in principle, I don't see how trying to stifle dissent or opinions.

I can remember some who got suspended (and some banned) for using the "I" (impeach) word about Bush and now look as to how some refer to this RINO.

No doubt about it, we should not attack Palin or any other true Conservative, but to question her qualifications is not the same.

I’m a fan of Sarah’s but the idea that people shouldn’t constructively criticize her (or any other republican) is ridiculous. This site needs to be able to discuss when Sarah (or any other politican) is right, when she’s wrong and/or what she should do to support conservative governance.

People LAUGHED in the 70s when someone was for Ronald Reagan for President. People thought he was ridiculous and a failed actor and a cowboy. No one knew how smart he would be as President, or what momentous things he would do, words he would say, that inspire people long after his death.

Perspective, people.

Reagan was not perfect. Humans just aren't. But we could not do much better, then or now, than Ronald Reagan as President: a true conservative in his heart and soul with the cojones to get things done rather than cower and try to be loved.

Whatever you think about Sarah Palin, she is a TRUE CONSERVATIVE in her heart and soul, with the "ovaries" to get things done rather than cower and try to be loved.

And that is something we desperately need right now.

We must promise ourselves that our top candidates for President ONLY include true conservatives with balls/ovaries. That way, we will get one for our nominee for sure. No one else need apply. Right now that list includes Palin and pretty much nobody else.
