Obama refuses public photo ops with Netanyahu

JERUSALEM – The White House has not released any official photos of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's meeting this week with President Obama – just one of several signs indicating a rift between the two leaders.

Netanyahu arrived in the U.S. last weekend to address a convention of Jewish leaders. The prime minister's office had for weeks attempted to schedule a meeting with Obama, but no meeting was officially confirmed until Netanyahu was already on a plane on his way to Washington, sources in Netanyahu's office said.

The only photos available to the media so far have been pictures of Netanyahu entering and exiting the White House. Any official photos taken of Obama and Netanyahu have not been released.

Neither Netanyahu nor Obama's team had scheduled any press conferences after the meeting, contrary to usual custom. Sources close to Netanyahu told WND the Israeli team canceled media briefings at the request of the U.S. administration.

“No, the real reason? HUSSEIN IS A MUSLIM..and MUSLIMS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ACKNOWLEDGE ISRAEL. It is a message to HIS PEOPLE. He’s done it over and over again. When are we going to wake up???”

I agree with your POV. When I read the headline, I felt sick to my stomach...just as I did when Obama announced there would be no missle defense for Poland on the anniversary of the WWII invasion of Poland.
Obama is really good at “coding” his real intentions and philosophy.

That line of succession is a mess all the way down to number 6, isn’t it?

Perhaps Biden is trying to make his case if there were any planned shake-up by ousting Obama by the Israelis.

Remember this back in July?

Biden Israel-Iran Statements Cause Storm Of Regional Responses

The effects of Vice President Joe Biden’s recent remarks during an interview with ABC's “This Week”—where he implied that Israel has a sovereign right to defend itself against a nuclear-inclined Iran, irrespective of US demands or guidance—continued to ripple through the region with statements from a leading Iranian official. According to Al Jazeera, Iranian Speaker of Parliament Ali Larijani made clear Monday that the US, more so than Israel, would be the one held in censure for an Israeli attack, and he vowed a “decisive and painful” Iranian response.

The salient Biden remarks that have caused concern to Iranian officials are, according to Reuters:

“We cannot dictate to another sovereign nation what they can and cannot do when they make a determination, if they make a determination, that they're existentially threatened.”

And,

“If the Netanyahu government decides to take a course of action different than the one being pursued now, that is their sovereign right to do that. That is not our choice. But there is no pressure from any nation that's going to alter our behavior as to how to proceed.”

God forbid anything should happen to Barack Obama, but,

...if it does, I will go down to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and dance the Irish Jig on the front sidewalk.

He USED to be a cypher. He will be a worn out Carter by then, Smiling silently won’t work again. He has an indefensible record to defend.

He is already exposed as an incompetent. Healthcare pass yet? That was going to be last summer,,, Cap and trade? He was going to take the done deal to Copenhagen. The “recovery” without jobs? Quadrupling the debt? The plunging Dollar? Jimmy Carter is a great analogy.

Sarah might not be Reagan,,but who do you think is closer than her? I hear you saying which contenders are sure to fail, so who do you think could? Or do you contend that the ZERO is unbeatable and we should just give up?

Maybe it was Netenyahu who refused to be photographed with the Obamanation. After all Obamanation is a widely dispised figure in Israel. Why create posters for your opposition?

And if Reagan gets brought up, so does Carter. Carter came in after voters were war-weary, experiencing the gas shocks and inflation, disgusted with Repubs, and disgusted with DC. This is also how Obama came in and had his big chance.

To middle of the roaders, he seemed honest, bi-partisan, and in tune with normal people. He was generally untainted by anything “DC”. When he was shown to be an economic illiterate and a weak sister on Defense (kicked around by Russia and Iran,,, sound familiar?) He was defeated in a landslide that would have been unimaginable in 1976.

International credit is drying up for us as he quadruples debt. Those 18% mortgages happened once, and can again. Unemployment is ALREADY above 10%. Obama will be lucky to avoid a challenge from Hillary in 2012. (as Teddy did to Carter)His choices are to print money and further chase away foreign loans to a worthless dollar, or to institute crushing taxes, or to drastically cut government. He is a captive of his spending already.

So yes,, Sarah, not of DC, who openly loves America in a genuine way, very well might turn out to be the Obama/Carters “Reagan”.

And like they tried to say of former Governor Reagan, former Goveror Sarah is “barely literate”, and not the darling of the GOP establishment. In 1976, Reagan couldn’t win the GOP nomination. Four years later,,after a leftist president, in over his head,,,,,landslide.

This is a lot like ‘76 and ‘80. I just am saddened at the late 70s economy we are certain to repeat.

Israel = God’s people,

therefore, of course, the left hates them as their ideological “father” does.

Obama just isn’t sympathetic to Israel.  This isn’t surprising at all.

It would not please his Muslim cohorts in the Middle East. The ones he bows to. The ones he apologizes to. The ones he greenlights nuclear power plants for.
