You discover that there are a lot of folks around here who have little use for the constitution. Indeed. With all the people around here who suddenly revere foreign law, one wonders how many of them will emulate their hero Arlen Specter and join the Democrats....

Can we start up domain names with Isaac Eiland-Hall’s name in them?

Trademark infringment? How about libel??!
I’d stand with Beck against the website owner if he were suing for libel—the URL is libelous. But trademark infringment? No thanks, we don’t need folks who should be supporting liberty joining in the corruption of intellectual property law.

Eiland-HallWell, I guess it's time to set up an even more inflammatory site incorporating this dickhead's name. Now that he's a public figure, any smear goes.

“The BushBots were the worst, but the fact that cripplecreek and Mnogamer are attacking you for defending the first amendment is really proof that they either have no idea what they are talking about or are simply Totalitarians coveniently hiding behind the mantle of conservativism.” The first amendmentment doesn't protect defamation or libelous speech. In other words you can't spread lies about someone with the intent of ruining their reputation and expect the first amendment to protect you. Sorry.

“Eiland-Hall also argued that the site doesn't infringe on Beck's trademark because there's no likelihood that Web users wrongly think he's affiliated with it. “Only an abject imbecile could believe that the domain name would have any connection to the complainant,” Randazza wrote. “ Sadly there is no shortage of abject imbeciles in the world.
