Beyond silly. We have a two-party system. The alternative is a multiparty system (which has proven a magnificent failure). This is reality, not some fantasy, and it's why I have diminishing hope for the "tea parties" and "liberty groups," because they don't seem to grasp this reality.
There is only ONE party that has a chance at running government through concepts of limited, Constitutional means and that's the Republicans. Government grows. Always has---since Washington's first term, and throughout Jefferson's terms---until now. The only hope is to have a party in power that enables the private sector to grow FASTER, and thus reduce the RELATIVE power of government over our lives.

We have a two-party system.
That couldn't be more of a misconception. The OP(formerly the GOP) has incrementally accepted socialist principles over the years with its big tent all inclusive mentality in order to expand the voter base. It has merged its political ideology with the Socialist RATs to form one big socialist Republicrat party. Another party based on strong Conservative principles will restore the two party system.
