Want to bet which side the New York Times has "sympathy" for?

It will be a military Court-Martial. Wanna bet which side the military officers on the court have sympathy for?

Well, lots of officers knew how the monster felt because he talked about it. And no one did anything.

If he had used the term "nigger" I suspect it would be in his record and he would have been demoted. Or forced out if it had happened more than a few times. But apparently the officers were ambiguous about his wanting to "cut throats"... etc.

So, no I don't know what side they'll be on. A few years ago I would have bet their loyalty would be to the men and women who were gunned down. Now - I don't know. What's your best guess?
