On the other hand, I underwent my first coronary artery bypass graft (CABG)in May 1983 at The Washington Hopspital Center. The lead physician on the team was a Pakistani. The cardiologist that referred me was from India. That procedure lasted almost 25 years. Thanks to them, I was able to run for years. My second CABG was done by some local Yankee surgeons. Hope I get as many out of the latter as I did the former.
