In just (1) editorial by Carvile, he says the following regarding those who still believe in our founding mores and values:

wingnuts'
lunatics;
nutjobs;
fringe;
nutcases.

Can someone, anyone, please explain to me how so-called intellectuals who have higher education degrees can be so dense about what works for humanity?

Point of fact, not ONE commune from the '60's still exists. Not ONE! Do you know why?

Because, like all communist entities, some in the commune didn't produce as much as others because they would still get there share of the produce. Those who did work hard for the commune became disenchanted because they were carrying the bigger load, while others just layed around doing their drugs or sucking up the production of those who were producing. There was NO incentive for the non-producers as long as they were taken care of.

I know all this for a fact. I had acquaintances back then that told me why they gave up on their Utopian communes. It wasn't because of the lice and other diseases that infiltrated their perfect little world. It was because they got tired of "carrying" all the no-loads.

I grew up on the streets of Los Angeles. I lived in cars and garages until I made my way with widget jobs, while never thinking those who had more were the enemy. Then, I joined the US Navy and made better of myself. Even then, I earned little money but was never envious of those who had more. I dreamed of being one of the bad "rich" guys.

What is wrong with people like Carvile's thinking? Are they really so engrossed with their "compassion" that they can't see how human character works? Don't bother to answer, I know the answer - they don't use their brains, they exist on "feelings". They believe socialism/communism can still work, if done differently. To them, ALL people should have the same outcome, not the same opportunity.

All people should be able to buy a house with no money down, free medical care, have (2) cars, a HDTV, a cell phone, a computer and access to the Internet, cable or satellite TV, and most importantly, a new fridge full of Colt 45. That is what we call "poor" in this country.

I'm simply amazed that these "intellectuals" haven't learned from history and have lowered the bar on what is considered poverty. Just look around the world for (5) minutes and you will see genuine poverty. I've been there and seen what "poor" is. Other than those who want to live on streets (which are the majority), there are NO poor in this Country.

Back on topic, tell me where I'm wrong. Carvile thinks those of us who appreciate self-worth and integrity are "nutcases".

To paraphrase Wyatt Earp, "Justice is coming! Tell all the other curs that hell is coming with it!"

The law is one thing; justice is another. The tide is turning. Justice is getting ready to prevail. Standby...

Send the Snake your two cents, literally. It will cost more money to process the two cents than the two cents value. Make sure you ask for a tax receipt that will cost them postage, an envelope and paper receipt, ink etc.

I honestly don’t understand what prevents Mary Matalin from taking the superglue to this guys mouth”

I can think of other places to also place the super glue.

I am unable to find one single reason why Mary stays with James.

He gets nuttier every day.

Maybe she thinks James is the secret weapon for the Conservatives. He helps us raise even more money.
