Then they probably have a record of the times they were logged in to the scheduling site? RIGHT....

An old joke:

I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather; and not screaming in terror like his passengers.....

LOL, I’ll bet more than a few people in the back of that plane wish they had internet access. Nah, can’t have that. It could interfere with plane safety.

The absurdity of this situation is amazing.

Darn it FReepers; FReeping is great, but don’t FReep and fly or FReep and drive. If you feel the need to FReep while flying a multi-million dollar aircraft containing hundreds of passengers, please resist the urge.

Honestly, I heard this story and I REALLY DIDN'T CARE what they were doing... All I know is they had the lives of MANY people in their hands and they missed an airport by 150 miles... WTF?

The should be fired... NOW! No explanation short of MASSIVE equipment failure is sufficient for me...

Even if that is the true story, do you want to fly with a pilot that takes an hour to figure out when he is suppose to show up for work next?

Heh. I can’t imagine any reason they could give that would be good cover for overflying their destination.

"The pilots said they were discussing the new monthly crew flight scheduling system that was in place because of the merger between Delta and Northwest.

They won't have to worry about that anymore!
