Several years ago a fast food place called Kings' Fried Chicken opened up in west Philly. It called itself KFC.... for about a week.
Yes that is what I was thinking. his is a dilberate attempt at making it look e=nearly exact to her cover and should be able to be stopped because of it. Not to mention the illegal use of her image now that she is a private citizen.
Susan Estrich tried to do the same thing with one of Ann Coulter’s books.

Too bad Sarah can’t have them change her cover to something else this close to release, that would kick the crap out of their little scheme. If I was the publishing company handling Sarah’s book I would be in court today requesting an injunction against the release of this book with that cover. I am sure it infringes on copyrights.

It must have taken several computers working in parallel with beta copies of some new super version of PhotoShop. The intensive data processing probably drained the power from several local suburbs during the time.

In their heart of hearts, lefties are completely blown away by the idea of a young attractive woman being conservative. Most lefties are such degenerates anyway.
Unless something has changed that I don't know about, titles aren't protected by copyright. And the parody exception to copyright infringement laws gives broad latitude for playing with another's work.
However, this is neither parody nor spoof, nor humor of any kind. It's a collection of essays by partisan political operatives carping about Palin. So I think there's reasonable basis for going after an injunction on the title, since its purpose is to horn in on the legitimate Going Rogue title. The fact that the "publishing company" was launched specifically to get this book out at this time should, imho, further persuade an objective judge to smack down these poachers. As for the picture, depends upon who owns the copyright on it and if the publisher owns or purchased use rights.
