The White House signaled Sunday that President Obama would postpone any decision on sending more troops to Afghanistan until the disputed election there had been settled and resulted in a government that could work with the United States.

...

The question at the heart of the matter, said President Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, is not “how many troops you send, but do you have a credible Afghan partner for this process that can provide the security and the type of services that the Afghan people need?”

The Afgan government need not work with the U.S. if it is freely elected.

Rahmbo needs to answer this question first, ‘do we have a credible Palestinian partner for this process that can provide the security?’

This is so self-absorbed that it makes me want to puke.

Narcissist can’t figure out a way to look good if he makes a decision to send in the needed troops.

Hammer him with Emails. Write your local newspaper Letters to the Editor.

Our CHILDREN and Brothers and Sisters and Aunts and Uncles and Parents are DYING every day in Afghanistan because there are not enough troops to fight the insurgent-terrorists!!

Email the WhiteHouse. Email your CongressCritters. Put the pressure on them!

“The delay, though, reflects deep uncertainty inside the White House about the prospects of waging a successful war without a partner in Kabul with widespread legitimacy among the Afghan people.” Excuses for fear of making a decision. Obama is Nero reincarnated.
We have a president without widespread legitimacy among the American people. If Karzai and Abdullah conduct a run-off, one of them will more than likely get a greater percentage of the vote than Obama. Will that make the winner legitimate? No, the Odious One will find another excuse to dither.
Obama and company better pray for a hard winter in Afghanistan, which typically puts a halt to fighting, although if the Taliban want to terrorize villages, no amount of snow will stop them, and the Taliban live and operate in the milder part of the country.

McChrystal needs to take a strong stand and resign immediately. Perhaps this would force the Zer0 to support our troops.

0bama is the worst president this country has ever had.

And if that answer is "no"? If that answer is no, what then about the plight of the Afghan people?

*** Vote present little boy. Vote present. ***

He's trying.

*Rumor has it* that he's barricaded himself in the Oval Office and is hiding under his desk with his 'Barney Blankey'

Hurry up and give me porkus, the economy can't wait...

Hurry up and give me cap and tax trade, the climate can't wait...

Hurry up and give me healthcare "reform," socialism the uninsured can't wait...

But in a shooting war, with US Soldiers dying every day? We wait...

John kerry was making an issue about this over the weekend. He did not want to send troops if the internal political situation was not resolved. Sounds like obama is listening to him.

... Afghanistan until the disputed election there had been settled ...

I do not remember a viable Afghanistan government mentioned in the good war. ZerO looking for voting present is all the wrong places.
