NFL urged to include animal-fighting ban (but Goodell is too busy blocking Rush from owning a team)

An international animal-protection group says the NFL should add dogfighting and cockfighting to its list of banned activities.

Dogfighting is a crime in all 50 states and cockfighting is illegal in 48 states.

In Defense of Animals has sent a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell asking him to add both activities to the "criminal offense" section of the league's Personal Conduct Policy.

That they even have to have a ban is damning. Are there that many sadists in the NFL? Glad I stopped watching that pathetic organization long ago.

I didn't see the one about banning for being Conservative but Goodell did it anyway.

Goodell comes by it honestly - his father was a liberal senator from New York who later helped set up the amnesty rules for Vietnam War draft dodgers. Wouldn’t expect that acorn to fall far from the tree.

And get rid of Odormann on the NBC Sunday broadcast. That a$$clown fits the textbook definition of ‘divisive’ which the NFL seems so concerned about.
I wrote an email to Goodell today about getting NBC to remove him from their football shows- saying that I’m making note of their advertisers and telling the same to them.
He’s a much more visible presence associated with the league than an owner would be.
Goodell’s email address is:

How sweet it was today.

Eagles/McNabb LOST

Jets LOST

The bigmouthed ‘I’m too principled to ever play for Rush’ lost his game.

Why not simply institute a five year ban for anyone convicted of a felony? There will be idiots who will not learn but most will do the dollars and cents computation.

Hmmmmm. What will the NFL do here? Remember that Jason Whitless (Fox Sports resident racist) says that dog fighting is a black cultural thing. So if the NFL bans it, does that mean the NFL is being racist and divisive?

Vick was suspended, even before he plead guilty. There’s very little in any sport that will get a person completely banned, pretty much they just involve fixing games for gambling interests.

A ban isn’t something they have to have. One guy got busted, was suspended, did time, and has been allowed back. Meanwhile doofus animal rights activists are trying to use it as a poster to get money.

First fall Sunday of my life I didn't watch a second of NFL. Screw them. They don't like my political bent, they get no money from me tv-wise, commercial-wise, etc.

As far as I am concerned, they chose Rev Al and Jesse over me. I don't go to parties I am not invited to.

Same here. The sight of the NFL made me nauseous. I have no idea who beat who today.

I assume you astute observers have noticed that Tony Dungy, who has been interviewed on Rush’s show, seems to have NO qualms about sitting next to Keith Olbermann. The proper thing would be for him to resign and refuse to go on the air with this POS! But he doesn’t. Funny how that black skin of Tony’s and a fat paycheck seem to have abrogated his principles!<p<

You may also have noticed that each NFL player’s helmet has an American flag on it. If the rumor I have heard is true, that flag will be removed and the Obama campaign symbol will be used in it’s place.

NFL go to hell.

I didn’t watch one dang game today and that was fine with me. Got a whole bunch done today, too.

The WWE has more credibility than the NFL. At least WWE admits it is “sports entertainment”. Still, I would like to see Goddell pile-dreiven by Mark “Undertaker” Callaway. RIP
