This sounds like the redux of the original M-16 story from Vietnam. I’m wondering how much is valid and how much is from the leftist playbook? Well, it is from the AP and written by a guy who says guns and bullets rather than weapons and rounds. That is enough for me to discount it until a more reliable source reports the same thing.
