A gay man who repeatedly gave blood after lying about having sex with other men is suing Canadian Blood Services, alleging the questionnaire used by the agency to screen out unsuitable donors is a violation of his charter rights. Kyle Freeman alleges the blood collection agency violates his charter rights and those of other gay men by asking male donors on the questionnaire whether they had ever had sex with a man, even once, since 1977.

In the 1980's, thousands of Canadians became infected with contaminated blood (HIV and Hepatitis). A "Royal Commission" (the "Krever Commission") conducted a lengthy, and very costly inquiry.
The Red Cross Society, which had been responsible for the blood supply, was found neglegant & a new "Canadian Blood Services Agency" was established to manage the blood supply. Naturally, the new agency put in place a screening system, designed to help prevent a repeat of the past disaster.
The "gay community" has objected to the screening questionaire, from day one. Now that memories are starting to fade, it seems that they're trying to play the "victim" card, yet again.
Anyone interested can access the "Krever Commission" report here:

This is no different than if he had AIDS and had sex with someone without telling them he was infected.
He should be tossed in jail for attempted murder.
Insanity on parade.
I wonder if they ask women the same question.
They’ll stop at nothing until everybody has AIDS.
They want to remove the Homosexuality = AIDS stigma, even though there’s strong enough correlation to warrant such questioning and subsequent restrictions.
Nobody who’s been to certain Asian or tropical locales has a problem with the restrictions. Not every one of them has a tropical disease, but it’s proven to be worth the exclusions.
I’ve heard that medical records will omit past sexually transmitted diseases and abortions.
Why would they do that if medical records are supposed to be “private” anyway?
Why keep ANYTHING on a medical record if the patient isn’t going to disclose past illness and treatment?
Exactly. Just like every homo out there, it’s always about them and their “rights”.
Murder charge would require intent.
But you could definitely go after a wreckless endangerment charge. No different than "drunk driving".
You don't have to get in an accident or hurt anyone to be convicted.
Ping.
If the laws won’t protect the majority then start handing out bats to everyone!
Two blood banks: the history of homosexual acts, imprisonment, prostitution, drug injection, risk of HIV, hepatitis, malaria, Creuzfeld-Jakob blood bank... and the regular blood bank.
Anyone who thinks the questions are a civil rights violation can draw from the first.
reckless endangerment
wanton disregard
culpable negligence
take your pick. This homosexual intentional disregared medical safety and intentionally risked the lives of recipients. Intent was there, act was there. Canada will hit him with a wet noodle.
They ask women if they’ve ever had sex with a man, who has had sex with other men.
There are a lot of related questions, which are asked of both sexes.
You can see the whole questionnaire here:
I thought homo perverts were ‘proud’ of themselves and their lifestyle. Why would anyone be offended when asked about a part of your life that you’re proud of? These twisted pigs will parade down the avenue in floats, in drag, shouting out their ‘pride’ for all to see, but when asked in a form if they’re queer they shriek in outrage. Guess there’s something about reflecting the truth back to them in a questionaire that makes them cringe about their own perversion.
It is my understanding that those who are promiscuous with vaginal or oral sex have a rate of HIV n times more than those who are not promiscuous.
But those who practice ANAL sex have a rate of HIV transmission 100n times more than promiscuous with orgal or vaginal sex.
Thus the first question should be ANAL, regardless of other factors. The 2d question should be promiscuous / multiple partners regardless of other factors.
Well as a frequent woman blood donor, they would ask if I had slept a gay man etc, but not ask me if I had slept a gay woman.
The reasons for this is primarily that Aids is primarily transferred from male to male/female more frequent than it is from female to female/male.
I believe the woman to woman/male transfer is THIRTY THREE times LESS likely than that of male to male/female.
This should be interesting.
