Of course, I also understand that 98% of the people who read those post have no idea what it is about and most likely think I lost my mind.
And when Charles Nelson Reilly died, I posted a link to the lyrics for Serrated Edge and had no replies.
I was a bit disappointed.

The Milkmen were one of my favorite bands, I saw them play at least 20 times and hung out with them in Austin when they were recoding Bucky Fellini and Beelzebubba. They put on great shows.
In college I had turned on a bunch of younger students on to the Milkmen and one night, very late I got a phone call and was told that some kid was holed up in his dorm room, tripping acid and trying desperately to discover the deeper meaning of Dead Milkmen songs.
I went to his dorm room, and while he did not know me, he let me in believing that I was somehow a Milkmen guru. We listened to a few songs,”Earwig” five or six times and I talked him down and explained the deeper meaning of Dead Milkmen’s lyrics.
“The Dead Milkmen’s lyrics have a very deep meaning and that is to make fun of everyone in the world except for me and of course you.”
