Frazier is NOT pro-gay marriage. He has repeatedly said that he believes in traditional marriage - that is, marriage between one man and one woman. He did support domestic partnership benefits for Aurora city employees because he says he felt from a business standpoint, it was the right thing to do. Allowing the same-sex partner of a city employee the same benefits as a different-sex spouse is not the same thing as supporting gay marriage.

If you are talking about Frazier’s support for Ref I, I think you should go back and read the text. It defines marriage as “the legally recognized union of one man and one woman” and also says that it “shall not be construed to create a marriage between the parties to a domestic partnership, create or recognize a legal status similar to that of marriage ... or alter the public policy of this state which reccognizes only the union of one man and one woman as marriage.” http://www.leg.state.co.us/CLICS2006a/csl.nsf/billcontainers/HB06-1344/$file/1344_enr.pdf?OpenElement
