Almost nothing Obama says is actually true. This is in itself a remarkable thing. Most people can be trusted to tell the truth about most things even if they lie about something that is for them a delicate problem.
Not Obama. Scratch the surface on almost any statement he makes and you find the ground shifting under your feet and the landscape turns out to be a painted backdrop.
The night Wilson called him a liar, he talked all night, accused his opponents of lying incessantly, and almost nothing he himself said was actually true. There is a point at which lying is so constant that it becomes willful delusion. His followers mostly know its not true but they also will themselves to share in the delusion. Someone called it magical thinking, and it is. And they get really mad if you spoil the moment for them by dragging mere facts into the matter.
