Is there any precedence for this before I get pissed off?
I have no clue - but it sure a s he__ll fits with obama’s agenda, Van Jones and all
Found this
“While the flags of many nations are flown at the White House when dignitaries of those countries visit, this seems to be the first time a foreign nations flag will be hoisted to celebrate that countrys founding, communist or not.”

I don't see any Union Jacks flying high.
For the bright, cool spring day, the White House was bedecked with flags and flowers. Giant yellow tulips bloomed from gardens and pots on the balconies and steps. Flags of all 50 states competed for space with the Vatican's yellow and white flag and the U.S. stars and stripes.
If the PRC flag is there amidst the pageantry of many flags, well, that is only protocol and tradition for a State visit. However, if it takes the place of American flags and is singled out, like the South Lawn is Tiananmen Square, then there is a huge problem.
Likely there will be one of those giant posters of Mao, next to a paired poster of Obama.
