The flag will be right behind the sign on the South Lawn of the White House. Just to avoid extra postings, this is actually the view from the North. I did not have one from the South with the poster in it. I'll have to work on that.

Schoolkids in America are at least allowed to talk openly about it and the gov’t just stays silent on its role. China has a wonderful fictitious story about how there was a mild bit of suffering as they grew but the worst parts were committed by radicals who in no way played any part in China’s “great” history.

Vatican Flag in there somewhere.
If the PRC flag is there amidst the pageantry of many flags, well, that is only protocol and tradition for a State visit. However, if it takes the place of American flags and is singled out, like the South Lawn is Tiananmen Square, then there is a huge problem.
Likely there will be one of those giant posters of Mao, next to a paired poster of Obama.

May as well leave it up. They own us now.

I understand that there are a lot of people saying this, but please don't repeat it; it simply is NOT TRUE.
Of total US debt China holds less than 2%. Guess who's holding by far and away the most?
US Taxpayers.
And unlike the Chinese, we aren't ever going to be paid back.

Just when I thought he couldn’t sink any lower. This despicable commie thug needs to be IMPEACHED!!! This is TREASONOUS! WE HAVE A FLAG ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!! (You know, Obama, the one you removed from your stupid Obama plane during the campaign to make way for your ridiculous O insignia!)

With a name like “Lexington” (Concord - shot heard around the world) I;m sure we can make great use of your talents
My own great grand dad (x4) Kneeland Taylor fought and died at the Battle of Goliad and my great uncle (x4) Rober Potter signed the Texas Deceleration of Independence and went onto become the first Sec of Texas Navy

This is even worse since they are holding the ceremony to raise the flag as an emphasis of its dominance over us. It won’t be just in the background to represent a visiting politician.
To: VRWCTexan
I just bought a brand new, big, huge, red, white and blue AMERICAN FLAG that I intend to put up this weekend in the front of my house and to keep it there until I need to replace it with another new one!

I wonder if there will be a quid pro quo. The raising of th Chinese flag for denying Sarah Palin entry into Hong Kong.

The PRC should not receive this honor. It’s a shame.
I’ve been reading “Mao: The Unknown Story” and it’s a really well-researched biography about Mao. They destroy a lot of myths about how the PRC was founded, and how stories of peasant support, etc, were mostly fabricated by Mao after he took full power. He’s revealed in his early years to be a really terrible guy that was simply willing to butcher random citizens in front of large crowds to intimidate towns he took over. Then it seems he got lucky and won support from the Soviets, and the rest was history.
