Does anyone know if this will be going on in high schools? I have a 10th grader. Maybe I’ll keep him home that day just as a statement. I’m sure he will be cooperative. ;)

Oh yeah, its OBAMATIME for K-12. FYI Below is the site for Staci McCormack, Principal's school who ended up contacting parents to provide an opt-out choice. This occurred in the Douglas County School District the site had a hit number of 28,765. http://schools.dcsdk12.org/education/components/scrapbook/default.php?sectiondetailid=55686&&PHPSESSID=fbef4e566e53db5dc8b7e121eb201320

Does anyone know if this will be going on in high schools? Yes. It's K-12.
I'm going to ask mine if they'd like to stay home. Even if it's not televised, it doesn't mean some liberalizing teacher won't decide its 'historic' enough or 'relevant' enough to bring it into the lesson plan.
I almost wish mine were eager to take an approved hooky day, but they don't like doing all the make-up work.
If nothing else, I'll thoroughly discuss the Presidential Propaganda speech with them over the weekend. It can be a continuation of our discussion of the political similarities between Zero and Hitler. This will fit right in.
