This was a well reasoned civil approach, compared to the bull dozer obama approach.

I think that Principal chose the right way to satisfy everyone and everyone has a chance to allow their child learning moments ( well as much learning as a hitler type speech from barry can be). It sounds like there will be a really good alternative to watching the Dear Leader spout.
THAT was my concern, that kids who didn’t want to be brainwashed would be singled out.

Good job

I also heard of a school in Michigan where the kids were told they needed to have “0bama time.”

I disagree. If this is not shut down now, Dear Leader will have monthly talks to the children.

Have no doubt that the kids who choose not to be propagandized WILL be singled out. It’s the way the left works. Failing persuasion, which they can rarely do outside their own little group of cultists, they always resort to coercian.

Back in 1992 or so, one of my sons began his college career at Miami U, of Ohio. He had to attend the mandatory PC orientation. One student said he wasn’t interested in being told what to think. He was shouted down. My son stood up and said that although he was saying things the PC crowd didn’t like, he had every right to speak his mind.

When my son returned to his room, someone had drawn a swastica on his door. Otherwise, these PC people are really nice, caring folks.
